George III cased set of four English (London) sterling silver berry spoons. Although all four spoons are identical, the hallmarks show one was assayed in 1799, another in 1800 and the other two in 1809. Makers marks indicate the 1799 spoon was by Stephen Adams I, the 1800 spoon by Thomas Wallis II and the two 1809 spoons by William Ellerby. Total weight of spoons is 231.6 grams. 18th century silver chalice. Interior of the bowl is gold gilded, heavily chased around the base, the three angels decorating the mid stem suggest this is an ecclesiastical vessel.
